The small print
Terms
The rules for dealing with Uglytude, in plain words. Worth two minutes before you book. Questions: hello@uglytude.com.
What Uglytude is
- A stationery shop in Zürich where you can draw. Fourteen square meters, Open Studio drawing slots and small Workshops, opening planned for November 2026.
- Content and prices can change before opening; bookings already paid follow the terms shown at purchase time.
Bookings and prices
- Open Studio: 30 minutes for 17 CHF, 60 minutes for 29 CHF, 90 minutes for 39 CHF, at most 3 guests per slot, basic materials included.
- Workshop: 49 CHF per person, about 150 minutes, at most 5 people; each paid booking comes with one Uglytude App redemption code.
- Friends: up to two, 15 CHF each, paid at the studio, no separate booking needed.
- If anything is ever unclear, your booking time is whatever Cal.com has on record and your payment is whatever Stripe has on record.
Rescheduling and refunds
- Every booking can be rescheduled twice for free, using the link in your confirmation email, into any slot that still has a seat.
- Payments are not refundable; if you cannot make it, reschedule as early as you can.
- If we cancel on you (say, the studio closes unexpectedly), you get a full refund.
- Anything unusual, write to hello@uglytude.com. We read everything.
Opening coupon and codes
- The 5 CHF opening coupon is bound to your email, usable on your first visit after opening, redeemed in the shop; no cash value, not transferable.
- The App code that comes with a Workshop is one per paid booking; if a code does not work, email us and we send a fresh one.
The wish wall
- Text and preset stickers only; notes are shown publicly.
- Be kind. Abusive, discriminatory, promotional, or dangerous content gets hidden.
- Your words stay yours; we only get the limited permission needed to display your note.
In the studio
- Respect the people in the room. Dangerous, abusive, or seriously disruptive behavior ends the session without a refund.
- Uglytude is a space for creative practice, not therapy, medical advice, or childcare.
Legal
- Swiss law applies; place of jurisdiction is Zürich.
- For personal data, see the privacy policy.
- For disputes, write first: hello@uglytude.com. This version: July 12, 2026, with a lawyer review planned before opening.
