Service framework
Terms
Draft terms framework for the Uglytude launch. This is not final legal copy; it marks the clauses that must be completed before bookings, payments, coupons, workshops, or in-person sessions go live.
Scope
- Define Uglytude as a small drawing space in Zurich offering Open Studio time slots and Workshop sessions.
- State that the website can change before the October 2026 opening and that booking availability is not live until explicitly enabled.
- Keep Shop, image upload, German-language pages, and community features outside the V1 service scope.
Bookings and coupons
- Cal.com remains the schedule source of truth and Stripe/Cal payment records remain the payment source of truth.
- Open Studio is planned as 29 CHF/hour with 30, 60, and 90 minute options, plus 15 CHF per friend and a maximum of 3 guests per slot.
- Workshop is planned as 49 CHF/person for 2-2.5 hours, maximum 5 people, including an App redemption code.
- The 5 CHF opening coupon is bound to the customer's email and is described as usable after opening for a first booking; automatic checkout redemption is not promised until the account batch proves it.
Rescheduling, refunds, and attendance
- The policy target is at most 2 reschedules per booking; V1 records the count and enforces exceptions manually unless Cal.com later provides a native control.
- Write the final cancellation, refund, no-show, late-arrival, and guest-transfer rules before accepting paid bookings.
- State that prices can be adjusted before opening, while already paid bookings follow the terms shown at purchase time.
Conduct and safety
- Add practical studio rules for a 14m2 room: respectful behavior, capacity, materials, cleaning, damage, and accessibility constraints.
- Reserve the right to refuse or end a session for unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior.
- Clarify that Uglytude is a creative practice space, not therapy, medical advice, childcare, or formal art accreditation.
Content and intellectual property
- Wish wall V1 accepts text and preset stickers only; links are displayed as plain text and image upload is not offered.
- Users keep ownership of their own drawings and text, while granting Uglytude the limited permission needed to display submitted wall notes.
- Photography, social reposting, and workshop documentation rules must be written before real events.
Legal placeholders
- Add liability, governing law, jurisdiction, consumer rights, data-protection cross-reference, and dispute-contact clauses before launch.
- Default legal review target: Switzerland / Zurich wording, checked against FADP and GDPR-facing privacy copy.
- Replace this framework with final public terms before paid bookings open.
